What do app owners pay?
You pay the campaign budget you choose, from $500, plus a 10% platform fee on top. Both are paid in full before the campaign goes live. You also set the rate creators earn per 1,000 views, from $1.00, so the budget and the rate together tell you the most views the campaign can pay for.
| Budget | Platform fee (10%) | You pay | Pays for up to, at $1.00 per 1K | Pays for up to, at $2.00 per 1K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $500 | $50 | $550 | 500,000 views | 250,000 views |
| $1,000 | $100 | $1,100 | 1,000,000 views | 500,000 views |
| $5,000 | $500 | $5,500 | 5,000,000 views | 2,500,000 views |
| $10,000 | $1,000 | $11,000 | 10,000,000 views | 5,000,000 views |
- Buys up to
- You pay (with 10% fee)
- $5,500
Minimum budget $500, minimum rate $1.00 per 1,000 views. Install, trial or subscription bonuses are not included here. Payment processing fees, if any, are shown before you pay.
A higher rate means the same budget pays for fewer views, so the rate is a real tradeoff. There is no monthly plan and no subscription at launch: you only pay for campaigns you fund. What happens to budget you don't spend?
When a campaign closes, videos that are still counting finish first. Whatever is left of the budget then comes back to you, as a refund or as credit for your next campaign. You choose which. The 10% platform fee is taken once on the full budget when the campaign is funded and is not refunded.
- 01
Example: you fund a $1,000 campaign
You pay $1,100: the $1,000 budget plus the $100 platform fee.
- 02
Creators earn $400 of it
Creators receive $380 after Markapping's 5%. Markapping keeps $20.
- 03
You end the campaign
The $600 that wasn't spent comes back to you as a refund or as credit. Markapping's total is $120: $100 + $20.
What do creators pay?
Creators pay nothing to join. Markapping keeps 5% of what you earn, and you keep 95%. Your earnings are the views counted on your video, divided by 1,000, times the campaign's rate, up to any limits the campaign sets. For example, 100,000 counted views at $1.50 per 1,000 is $150, and you keep $142.50.
| Counted views | Earnings | Markapping keeps (5%) | Creator keeps (95%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 | $10 | $0.50 | $9.50 |
| 100,000 | $100 | $5 | $95 |
| 1,000,000 | $1,000 | $50 | $950 |
- Views × rate
- $150.00
- You keep (after 5%)
- $142.50
Each campaign sets its own rate (at least $1.00 per 1,000 views) and may cap what one video or one creator can earn. Install, trial or subscription bonuses are paid on top and are not included here.
View earnings become payable once the video's counting window ends and our checks are done. Bonuses for installs, trials or subscriptions are paid separately, when that data comes in, usually a few days later. These are examples, not promises: what you earn depends on the campaign's rate and on the views your videos actually get. See how getting paid per view works, or start at Markapping for creators.
Who sets the rate, and can it change?
The app owner sets the rate per 1,000 views when creating the campaign, from $1.00. While the campaign is live the rate can only go up, never down, and a new rate applies to views counted after the change. Creators who joined are notified when it changes.
- Rate per 1,000 views: from $1.00, set by the app owner.
- Bonus (optional): each of install, trial and paid subscription has its own price, set by the app owner.
- Limits (optional): the most one video can earn, the most one creator can earn, a minimum view count before anything is paid, and a cap on the number of videos.
- Counting window: 7, 14 or 30 days after a video is approved.

Why is the budget paid up front?
So the money for creators' views already exists before the campaign goes live. When a budget runs out, the campaign closes to new videos and waits 7 days. If the app owner adds budget in that time, counting picks up where it stopped. If not, the campaign closes and earnings up to that point still go through review and get paid.
What is Markapping, and is it live?
Markapping is a pay-per-view creator marketing platform for mobile apps: app owners fund a campaign and pay creators for every 1,000 views their videos get on TikTok and Instagram Reels. It is not live yet. It is opening soon, and app owners and creators can join separate waitlists. Read more about Markapping.
Questions
Is there a monthly fee or subscription?
No. Markapping has no subscription and no monthly plan at launch. App owners pay a campaign budget plus a 10% platform fee for each campaign they fund. Creators pay nothing to join, and Markapping keeps 5% of what they earn from counted views.
Is the 10% platform fee refunded if I end a campaign early?
No. The fee is taken once on the full budget when the campaign is funded. Only unspent budget comes back, as a refund or credit. The exception: if your first campaign is rejected in our review and never goes live, the budget and the fee are both refunded.
What is the minimum budget?
The minimum campaign budget is $500, paid in full before the campaign goes live. The 10% platform fee goes on top, so the lowest total is $550. At the lowest rate of $1.00 per 1,000 views, a $500 budget pays for up to 500,000 counted views, before any bonuses.
What is the lowest rate I can set?
The lowest rate is $1.00 per 1,000 views. App owners can set any higher rate when they create the campaign. While the campaign is live the rate can only be raised, never lowered, and the new rate applies to views counted after the change.
Do creators pay anything to join?
No. Joining is free. Markapping keeps 5% of creator earnings, so the creator keeps 95%. For example, 100,000 counted views at $1.00 per 1,000 earn $100, and the creator keeps $95. This is an example, not a promise of income.
Is Markapping live yet?
Not yet. Markapping is opening soon, and app owners and creators can join separate waitlists. We have not announced a date. The fees on this page are the pricing as of October 2026, and they apply from the day the panels open.
Which payment methods and countries are supported?
We have not published payment methods, supported countries or withdrawal rules yet. They will be confirmed before the panels open. What is already fixed is the fee structure on this page: budget plus 10% for app owners, and 5% of earnings for creators.
