Influencer CPM calculator

Influencer CPM is what a creator deal costs per 1,000 views: the price divided by the views, times 1,000. A $500 sponsored TikTok that gets 60,000 views has a CPM of $8.33, and the same views at $1.50 per 1,000 views would cost $90. Use the calculator below to check any quote, or to see how many views a budget buys at a set rate.

How do I use the influencer CPM calculator?

Enter what you paid for a post and the views it got. The calculator shows your effective CPM (cost per 1,000 views) and what the same views would cost at a per-view rate you pick. Fees and bonuses are left out, so you compare like with like.

CPM is the cost per 1,000 views: price ÷ views × 1,000. Platform fees and any install, trial or subscription bonuses are not included.

  • Flat fee you paid: the price quoted or invoiced for one post.
  • Views it got: read them at the same point for every creator, for example 14 days after posting.
  • Per-view rate to compare: what you would offer per 1,000 views instead.

How is influencer CPM calculated?

CPM stands for cost per mille, Latin for thousand. Divide what you paid by the views (or impressions) and multiply by 1,000. Example: a $500 post with 60,000 views costs $500 / 60,000 x 1,000 = $8.33 per 1,000 views. Cost per view is the same figure divided by 1,000: under one cent.

Views or impressions? The ad CPMs below are counted per 1,000 impressions. Creator CPMs get quoted on either: IQFluence's benchmarks divide by impressions, while per-view campaigns pay on views. Views differ by app too. Since April 2025, Meta counts a view each time a video starts playing, replays included, as reported by Kolsquare. Only compare CPMs built on the same count.

What is a good CPM for influencers in 2026?

There is no single good number, because ads, sponsored posts and per-view campaigns are priced differently. As of October 2026, sponsored posts from creators with 10K-100K followers reportedly cost $8-$22 on TikTok and $8-$25 on Reels per 1,000, TikTok ads a $4.08 median per 1,000 impressions, and most per-view campaigns $0.80-$2 per 1,000 views.

Why the gap: a sponsored post is paid whether it does well or not, and you pick exactly who posts. A per-view rate is lower because the creator carries the risk of a quiet video. Ad CPMs count every time the ad is shown, watched or not.

What is the effective CPM of a flat-fee post?

A flat fee buys one post, not a number of views, so its CPM is only known afterwards. IQFluence, citing Creatorscore, puts TikTok videos from creators with 10K-100K followers at $200-$1,250 each. Example: at $500, the CPM swings from $50 at 10,000 views to $1.00 at 500,000 views.

Example: a $500 flat-fee post vs paying $1.50 per 1,000 for the same views
Views the post getsEffective CPM of the $500 feeSame views at $1.50 per 1K
10,000$50.00$15
60,000$8.33$90
100,000$5.00$150
About 333,000$1.50$500
500,000$1.00$750

The break-even point is flat fee / per-view rate x 1,000: for a $500 post against $1.50 per 1,000, about 333,000 views. If a creator's recent posts regularly clear that number, take the flat fee. If their views swing widely, paying per view keeps quiet posts cheap.

What is CPM in UGC?

UGC creators are usually paid per video, so CPM in UGC means one of two things: the effective cost per 1,000 views of those videos, or a per-view payment on top. As of October 2026, viral.app's live job data shows a median of $16 per video and $1 per 1,000 views on jobs that pay per view.

Example: a $16 video with 2,000 views has an $8.00 CPM; at 20,000 views, $0.80. More in UGC for mobile apps.

How many views does my budget buy?

Divide the budget by the rate per 1,000 views, then multiply by 1,000. At $1.00 per 1,000, $500 buys up to 500,000 views; at $2.00, up to 250,000. Because you set the rate first, you know the most views a budget can buy before spending.

This calculator uses Markapping's numbers. Markapping is a pay-per-view creator marketing platform for mobile apps: app owners fund a campaign and pay creators for every 1,000 views their videos get on TikTok and Instagram Reels. It is not live yet. Budgets start at $500 and rates at $1.00 per 1,000 views, plus a 10% platform fee, so your all-in CPM is the rate plus 10%. See how it works for app owners.

$500$2.00$550250,000 views$2.20
$2,000$1.50$2,200About 1.33 million views$1.65

Up to matters. Once videos still counting are settled, unspent budget comes back as a refund or credit, your choice. The 10% fee is taken on the full budget and is not refunded. Example: a $500 campaign at $1.00 that spends only $300 costs you $350 for 300,000 views, about $1.17 per 1,000. All fees are on the pricing page.

How do views turn into installs?

Views are not installs. To compare a creator campaign with ads you buy per install, turn CPM into cost per install: all-in cost per 1,000 views / installs per 1,000 views. The rates below are assumptions for illustration, not benchmarks. Use your own from past posts or ads.

  1. 01

    500,000 counted views

Example: $500 at $1.00 per 1,000 views, fully spent. You paid $550 with the fee.

  2. 02

    2,000 store visits

Assumption: 0.4% of views lead to a visit to your App Store or Google Play page.

  3. 03

    500 installs

Assumption: 25% of those visitors install. That is 1 install per 1,000 views.

  4. 04

    $1.10 per install

    $550 / 500 installs. At 2 installs per 1,000 views: $0.55. At 0.5: $2.20.

Expect tracking to undercount. Airbridge, an attribution vendor, reports that viewers tend to watch, then search the store, so click-based links miss most influencer-driven installs and promo codes catch a minority. Compare total daily installs before and during a campaign. Markapping's campaign analytics include an install-lift figure, clearly labeled as an estimate, and app owners can add an optional bonus per install, trial or paid subscription. Questions

What is CPM in influencer marketing?

CPM is the cost per 1,000 views or impressions of a creator deal. For a flat-fee post it is the fee divided by views, times 1,000: a $500 post with 60,000 views has an $8.33 CPM. In a pay-per-view campaign you set the CPM in advance as your rate.

What is a good CPM for influencers?

It depends on what you buy. As of October 2026, IQFluence gives planning ranges of $8-$22 per 1,000 for sponsored TikTok videos from creators with 10K-100K followers and $8-$25 for Instagram Reels. Per-view campaigns run lower: Foundry found a $1.00 median across 50 campaigns.

What is the average TikTok CPM?

For paid TikTok ads, Focus Digital reports a median CPM of $4.08 for August 2025 to July 2026, counted on impressions. TikTok's Creator Rewards Program reportedly pays creators about $0.40-$1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, but that is a payout to creators, not a price advertisers pay.

Should I pay influencers a flat fee or per view?

Work out the break-even: flat fee / per-view rate x 1,000. A $500 post against a $1.50 rate breaks even at about 333,000 views. If the creator's recent posts regularly beat that, the flat fee is cheaper. If not, pay per view. Pay-per-view influencer marketing explains the model.

What CPM does Markapping charge?

You choose it. App owners set a rate per 1,000 views from $1.00 and fund a budget from $500 up front, plus a 10% platform fee, so $1.00 per 1,000 costs $1.10 all-in when fully spent. The rate can be raised while live, never lowered. Markapping is not live yet; the waitlist is open.
