Markapping vs Noise for app marketing

Noise and Markapping both pay creators per 1,000 views, but they buy different things. On Noise, creators post from playbooks you set up, usually on new accounts, and by default Noise prices payouts from your daily budget. On Markapping, creators post their own videos on their own accounts, with the paid partnership label on, at a fixed rate you set. Noise is live; Markapping opens soon.

What is the difference between Markapping and Noise?

Noise is a live marketplace where everyday creators post content from brand playbooks and are paid per view. Markapping is a pay-per-view creator marketing platform for mobile apps: app owners fund a campaign and pay creators for every 1,000 views their videos get on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Markapping is not live yet.

The real difference is what you pay for. On Noise you set up a playbook and creators post it, in most cases from new accounts made for a brand or topic. On Markapping, creators make their own videos and post them on their own accounts, labeled as a paid partnership. Noise suits a small, fast start; Markapping suits a fixed rate on creators' own accounts.

Where is Noise the better choice?

Noise is the stronger pick if you want to start small today, skip content work and get many posts fast. It is live and funded, and it offers extras such as an ads integration, an API and an AI connector. As of October 2026, this is where Noise is ahead.

When does Markapping fit better?

Markapping fits app owners who want creators' own accounts rather than new ones, and who want to know the rate and fees before they spend. It is built only for iOS and Android apps, with ownership verified through App Store Connect or Google Play Console. The tradeoff: it is not live yet and needs $500 up front.

  • Creators' own accounts, connected by official login with read-only access. Markapping never posts for anyone.
  • Labeled as ads. Videos without the paid partnership label don't count.
  • Your rate, fixed. From $1.00 per 1,000 views. While the campaign is live it can only go up.
  • Published fees. 10% on top of the budget, and 5% of what creators earn.
  • Bonuses for results. Optional, per install, trial or paid subscription, each with its own price.
  • Clear rules. You can only reject a video for breaking a written campaign rule, and must give a reason. In review mode, videos not reviewed within 48 hours are approved automatically.
  • Fake-view checks on every video, with a person making the final call.

For creators: how does pay differ on Noise and Markapping?

Both pay per 1,000 views. Noise asks less of you at the start: its app, listed as Noise - Make Money Posting, needs no followers because you usually start new accounts. On Markapping you make your own video, post it on your own account, and are paid per counted view, not per follower.

Example: 100,000 counted views at $1.00 per 1,000 is $100, and you keep $95. View earnings are paid after the counting window ends and checks are done. Bonuses are paid separately when install, trial or subscription data comes in. More on Markapping for creators.

One more difference: Noise's docs say a campaign whose budget is spent is paused, and that while paused, no posts earn, including ones made before the pause. On Markapping, a campaign out of budget closes to new videos and waits 7 days for a top-up, and earnings up to then still get reviewed and paid.
