What does Markapping do?

Markapping connects people who make mobile apps with people who make short videos. An app owner opens a campaign, pays the budget up front and sets a rate per 1,000 views. Creators post a video about the app on their own TikTok or Instagram account and earn for the views it gets. Nobody is paid for followers.

Why only mobile apps?

Apps grow in a specific way: a video makes people search the store, install, start a trial and maybe subscribe. Markapping is built around that path. App ownership is checked through App Store Connect or Google Play Console, and a campaign can pay a bonus for installs, trials or subscriptions on top of views.

What rules does Markapping follow?

The same rules apply to both sides, and they are written down before anyone posts. Money is paid in before a campaign starts, videos are checked for fake views, and an app owner can only reject a video for a rule written in the campaign. Here is each rule.

  • Budgets are paid in full before a campaign goes live, so the money for creators' views already exists.
  • Creators post on their own accounts with the platform's paid partnership label on. Videos without it don't count. See the paid partnership label.
  • Every video gets a fake-view check. Suspicious videos are held, a person on the Markapping team makes the final call, and the creator can appeal once.
  • App owners can only reject a video for breaking a rule written in the campaign, and must name the rule and give a reason. If an app owner reviews each video by hand, videos not reviewed within 48 hours are approved automatically.
  • Fees are published: 10% on top of the budget for app owners, 5% of earnings for creators. No subscription at launch. See pricing.

Each app owner's first campaign is also reviewed by the Markapping team before it goes live. If it is rejected and never goes live, the budget and the fee are refunded.

Is Markapping live?

Not yet. As of October 2026 Markapping is opening soon, and we are not giving a date. App owners and creators can join the waitlist today, on separate lists. Markapping works in the browser on a phone or computer, so there is no app to install. It is in English and global.

Is Markapping affiliated with TikTok or Instagram?

No. Markapping is an independent company. It is not an official partner of TikTok or Meta. Creators connect their accounts with each platform's official login (read-only access), and Markapping never posts for you.

How do I contact Markapping?

Questions

What is Markapping?

Markapping is a pay-per-view creator marketing platform for mobile apps. App owners fund a campaign and pay creators for every 1,000 views their videos get on TikTok and Instagram Reels. It is opening soon, and both sides can join the waitlist.

Is Markapping an app?

No. Markapping works in the browser on your phone or computer, so there is nothing to install. It is built for owners of mobile apps and the creators who make videos about them, in English and open worldwide.

Which platforms does Markapping support?

TikTok and Instagram Reels only. Creators post on their own account with the paid partnership label on, and views are counted from there. A creator connects the account with the platform's official login (read-only) or verifies it with a short code in the bio.

Who can use Markapping?

Owners of iOS and Android apps, who verify the app through App Store Connect or Google Play Console, and creators who post on TikTok or Instagram. Each campaign sets who can join: open to everyone, by application, or invite-only.

Is Markapping live yet?

Not yet. As of October 2026 it is opening soon, with no launch date announced. App owners and creators can each join a waitlist, and the two lists are separate, so you only join the side that fits you.

How does Markapping make money?

App owners pay their campaign budget plus a 10% platform fee, once. Creators join free and Markapping keeps 5% of what they earn. There is no subscription at launch. The details and worked examples are on the pricing page.
